Temptation Island Season 5 Episode 4 Recap: 10 Biggest Reveals (2025)

Temptation Island season 5 episode 4, "Marriage, Then What?" was full of firsts for the newly formed couples, with the potential to give into temptation getting more real each day. For the coupled-up contestants, the fight against temptation is getting harder with each passing week. As the contestants get closer in their separate villas, things are getting consistently hotter between the new couples. Though some are finding it hard to keep their partners in mind, others have been feeling the weight of wanting to let feelings outside of their relationships dictate their actions. As the fight against temptation gets more difficult, many are conflicted.

While Hall Toledano and Kaitlin Tufts came into Temptation Island season 5 engaged, they've both been moving on to find other partners as the series has drawn on. For Hall, Makayla Halstead has been his number one since the beginning, but for Kaitlin, new chemistry has been blooming with Michael Zappa. Meanwhile, Great Ezihie has been torn between several women, including Nafeesah Terry and Tamie Lawson, while his girlfriend Paris Pedro has her sights on Tahjicc Smith. Christopher Wells and his girlfriend Marisela Figueroa have yet to choose steady partners in the house, while Vanessa Valente and Rob Maldonado have switched up who they're interested in weekly.

During the bonfire, Temptation Island host Mark L. Walberg shared clips of the women's time on the island. After Great was shown clips of Paris speaking bluntly about her attraction to other men, he said he was embarrassed by her. He felt disrespected, and his trust was broken, especially knowing how far Paris took her attraction. Great said in an interview that he was not going to consider her moving forward. Instead, he was going to do what he wanted and treat this experience as though he was single.

9 Rob Understood “How Bad Of A Match” He & Vanessa Are

Rob explained that the more time he spends away from his original partner Vanessa, the more he understands that they are a terrible match for one another. Rob explained that, in his relationship, he has always felt insecure and unheard. After his meltdown in one of the first episodes of Temptation Island season 5, it was clear Rob was not being listened to in the way he felt he needed to be. During the bonfire, Rob explained he's open to making new connections and isn’t sure he will be returning to his relationship with Vanessa.

8 Hall Felt Relieved & Confirmed He’s Looking For Someone Like Makayla

After seeing what his fiance, Kaitlin is up to, Hall explained that he felt some relief. When he was questioned about this, he explained that because he was making a connection with Makayla, he was happy to see that Kaitlin was also taking Temptation Island seriously. He once again brought up that he wants to have children quickly and that, in his current relationship, that doesn't seem to be the case. He explained that he's feeling a lot towards Makayla and is looking forward to exploring their relationship further.

7 The Women Decompressed In Their Villa After The Bonfire

After the bonfires were finished, the women headed back to their villa and found the single guys waiting to help them decompress. Everyone chatted about the issues that they were facing and what they had seen from their partners. The single guys had laid out wine and chocolate for the women and were happy to listen to their problems. They offered counsel and explained their points of view, bringing about some interesting conversation and making it clear that they were there to be supportive.

6 Chris & Abby Fought In The Hot Tub

After the bonfires, the guys' villa seems to be the more dramatic place to be. The Temptation Island season 5 single girls and a couple of guys got into the hot tub to talk about what happened at the bonfire. During their conversation, Abby Bryan decided to let Chris know exactly what she thought of him. The two had connected in previous weeks, but their connection seemed to be strained after Abby confronted Chris about not being his authentic self. The two got into a fight which escalated quickly and ended with Chris leaving the hot tub after telling Abby she didn't know him well enough to make such a judgment.

5 The Group Dates Saw Some Singles Eliminated

The first set of group dates happened the following day, giving both the single guys and single girls the ability to make their intentions known. The guy's villa went on a soccer date, testing each other's sports knowledge as they kicked around with each other. Meanwhile, the girl's villa went on a fishing date, with the guys hoping to impress while the women took charge. The singles were not made aware that at the end of the group dates, they would have an elimination. By the end of the dates, Marjorie Gauracho and Griffin Grady had been sent home from Temptation Island.

4 A Paint Party At The Guys Villa Got Dirty

After the group dates, everyone went back to their villas and proceeded with that night's round of partying. The guys' villa held a paint party that featured body paint and whipped cream, as well as some low lights and lots of dancing. The party was, as per usual, very raunchy. With very little regard for their partners, the coupled-up guys and the single girls got very close to giving in to temptation. Great was one of the major players at the party, taking the opportunity to lick whipped cream off most of the single ladies.

3 A Talent Show In The Girls Villa Was Tempting

While the guys' villa was covered in paint, the girl's villa had a bit classier of an event when they hosted a talent show for all of the single guys. With features like juggling and a rap written by Mike for Kaitlin, the talents were somewhat expansive. The final talent came from Tahjicc, who gave Paris a no-holds-barred lap dance in his underwear. The two wound up kissing during the dance, leaving Paris wanting more from her potential suitor. Tahjicc won the talent show after tying with Mike, and his prize was a night in Paris’s bed.

2 Kaitlin Struggled With Ignoring Temptation

After the talent show, Kaitlin explained that she was struggling with her feelings. While she was still in love with Hall and felt that her engagement was an important commitment, she was interested in Mike. She wanted to see where things would go, especially after he expressed interest in her. Kaitlin was tempted to crawl into bed with Mike but ultimately decided to remove herself from the situation. She wound up sleeping on the couch while Mike was in a bed waiting for her. Kaitlin spoke candidly about how difficult Temptation Island has been for her knowing that Hall has made such a deep connection.

1 Nafeesah, Tamie, & Tia Ended The Night Fighting

After the guy's villa finished their party, Great was sitting in the kitchen with several of the women who were interested in him. Tamie and Nafeesah wound up fighting over Nafeesah’s perceived attitude. While it’s been clear that Nafeesah isn’t the most liked person in the house, she wasn’t happy to hear that Tamie was coming for her. Though the fight was about more than the women’s interest in Great, it was clear that all three of them vying for his affection was taking a toll on their relationships. Temptation Island season 5 seems like it will spend the next episode sorting out the drama between the women.
